The MS4640B Series represents the core of Anritsu’s VectorStar family, delivering high-fidelity S-parameter measurements for RF to mmWave devices across R&D, validation, and production environments. Covering 70 kHz to 70 GHz in a single instrument, it stands out with its low-frequency performance—adding two extra decades of range often unavailable in traditional VNA platforms.

This series features intelligent analysis tools like IMDView™ for live intermodulation testing, PulseView™ for ultra-fast pulse measurement (2.5 ns resolution), and DifferentialView™ for real-time evaluation of differential components using internal dual signal sources. These features reduce time-to-validation and simplify complex test setups.

Optional capabilities such as the Spectrum Analyzer (Option 49) extend performance up to 220 GHz, while the Cold Source Noise Figure and Differential NF options support complete signal integrity testing for both single-ended and differential systems.
